Courir de Mardi Gras LAFAYETTE – Experience a country Mardi Gras in the city at Vermilionville's old-time Mardi Gras run. Revel with the runners of the Basil Mardi Gras Association as they go door-to-door in Vermilionville's village begging, singing and dancing for gumbo ingredients. Afterwards, you can two-step to Acadien Cajun Band, who will be playing from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Plus, our restaurant will have gumbo available for purchase.
