Join us for the free monthly cultural film series, Les Vues, held the last Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Performance Center. Les Vues is curated by filmmakers and enthusiasts, mostly from around the state. The films will range from features, documentaries, student film, shorts, animation, etc. that focus on the themes surrounding various aspects of culture. Following the screenings will be an open discussion between the audience and the curator about the themes of the movie and how they apply to that culture as well as our own.

The Vermilionville Living History Museum and Folklife Park relies on annual, tax-deductible memberships and donations to fund its ongoing efforts to offer a living history museum where visitors can see what life was like for the Acadian, Creole and Native American Cultures in the Attakapas region from 1765 to1890.

Vermilionville welcomes more than 50,000 visitors a year from across the world, and hosts more than 30 special events annually geared toward education, music, the environment, and culture, including our weekly Saturday Cajun Jam and Sunday Dance.
