        Location

Vermilionville is located at 300 Fisher Road, off Surrey St., in Lafayette, Louisiana.   We are located across from the Lafayette Regional Airport and next to the Jean Lafitte Acadian Cultural Center, which features static exhibits and a wonderful film on the exile of  the Acadians from their native Nova Scotia.

If you are coming from I-10 (either west or east) the following directions will take you to Vermilionville:

Exit 103A to Lafayette. You will be on the Evangeline Thwy.   After approximately five miles, you will come to University St. Turn left.  You will travel approximately three-quarters of a mile, then turn left at stop light. The museum is located at 300 Fisher.
